The holiday season is a time when many of us think about doing something nice. But the best part is when your good deed creates a domino effect that lasts the rest of the day.

 

Case in point: When a patron in an Oregon diner decided to pick up the check of a stranger's table, the patron who got the free meal decided to do that for another table. This string of good deeds ended up going all day.

As the restaurant manager said about the incident, "People were just pointing to tables. Nobody knew each other."
