Alrighty--we all spend time on ol' Facebook and does it matter if we "like" somethign or not?  The answer is a resounding "YES!!!!"   According to a new study, if you “like” or “friend” a company on Facebook, it’s worth $174.17 to that brand.

This amount is an increase of 28 percent since 2010.

Facebook fans end up spending more money not only on the brands they fan – but also spreading the word to others, who will end up spending money on those brands. (IBTimes.com)
