The 2017 NFL Draft begins on Thursday and there are a few North Dakota players that declared for the NFL Draft.

There is one player from the University of North Dakota and three players from North Dakota State.

  • Michael Coe

    Center

    North Dakota

The Center out of UND who is 6'1" and 309 lbs is probably the best prospect coming out of a North Dakota school. CBS Sports projects that he will go in round 7 or will be signed as an undrafted free agent after the draft.

CBS Sports ranks him as the ninth best center in the draft.

  • Zack Johnson

    Offensive Guard

    North Dakota State

Johnson is 6'4" and 346 lbs. CBS Sports does not project he will be drafted or signed but that doesn't mean he won't find himself at an NFL camp this summer.

CBS Sports ranks Johnson as the 39th best offensive guard in the draft.

  • Landon Lechler

    Offensive Tackle

    North Dakota State

Lechler is another offensive lineman who is not projected by CBS Sports to be drafted or signed but he too may find an NFL team to tryout for.

Lechler is 6'7" and 310 lbs.

  • King Frazier

    Running Back

    North Dakota State

King Frazier was a fan favorite at NDSU and found a lot of success especially the past two seasons. Frazier finished the 2015 and 2016 campaigns with 11 touchdowns.

He finished with 1,158 yards in 2015 and 879 yards in 2016.

Despite the success at NDSU, CBS Sports ranks the 5'11", 213 pound running back as the 60th best at the position in the draft.

CBS Sports doesn't project him to sign as an undrafted free agent either but it's hard to think with the power, speed and talent that he has, an NFL team won't bring him into camp just to give him a look.
