The National Weather Service has issued a WIND CHILL ADVISORY that goes into effect at 6PM Saturday. (2/21)

The wind chill advisory remains in effect until 12 Noon Sunday.

The area can expect wind chill values to drop to MINUS 40 degrees. Arctic air will spread across Western and Central North Dakota late tonight into Sunday.

Dangerous wind chills will develop across the area by late tonight. This will effect the entire region.

Frost bite can occur to exposed skin in as little as ten minutes is possible. If you will be traveling, you should carry clothes appropriate for temperatures outside the vehicle should you become stranded. Double check your winter survival kit in your automobile.
