We're not even into October and Carson Wentz can't stop winning awards.

Not that this should be a surprise, but Carson Wentz has been named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for September. Wentz has led the Eagles to a 3-0 start and first place in the NFC East.

The statistics for Wentz are mind-boggling for a rookie quarterback. He's completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 769 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. In fact, Wentz now holds the record for most pass attempts by a rookie (102) without having thrown an interception. He currently holds the NFL's fifth best passer rating at 103.8. Only two quarterbacks have a passer rating of 100 or better, without throwing an interception. One is San Diego's Phillip Rivers and the other is Wentz.

The awards are racking up quickly for Wentz. Just yesterday, he was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week. The only thing slowing him down from the records and firsts that he's compiling is the fact that the Eagles have a bye this week.

Wentz is the first player in the Philadelphia Eagles' franchise history to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month.
