Chris Hemsworth Might Be Starring in That ‘Men in Black’ Reboot
A reboot of Men in Black doesn’t sound all that appealing — especially ever since we learned that the proposed 21 Jump Street / MiB crossover is no longer in the works. But when you bring Chris Hemsworth into the equation, suddenly a Men in Black reboot sounds pretty damn attractive. Handsome, even.
Brendan Fraser Details Groping Allegation Against Former HFPA President
In 2016, Brendan Fraser began making a quiet comeback after a mysterious career absence that started with a guest spot on The Affair and led up to a leading role in the upcoming Danny Boyle FX series Trust. As detailed to Zach Baron in a fascinating new profile for GQ, Fraser’s disappearance from movie and TV screens wasn’t necessarily abrupt, nor could it be attributed to any single cause — which makes the above headline somewhat reductive. There’s just far too much to unpack in Fraser’s story, which involves extensive physical injuries, emotional struggles, and a groping allegation involving the former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Netflix’s full March lineup includes new seasons of ‘Jessica Jones’ and ‘Love,’ along with classic films like ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Casino.’
‘Jurassic World 3’ Sets an Official 2021 Release Date
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (they’re really sticking with that, aren’t they) doesn’t hit theaters until this summer, but Universal is already plotting the next sequel — and they’ve enlisted a new (female!) screenwriter to lend Colin Trevorrow a hand. Jurassic World 3 will officially wreak havoc on a theater near you in 2021. Given Fallen Kingdom’s ridiculous “rescue the dinosaurs from extinction (again)” plot, we have to assume that — spoiler? — the dinos will continue to terrorize humans in some capacity because clearly these people have learned nothing.
Quentin Tarantino Apologizes to Roman Polanski Rape Victim Samantha Geimer
In 2003, while promoting Kill Bill, Quentin Tarantino appeared on Howard Stern’s radio show, where he effectively blamed Roman Polanski rape victim Samantha Geimer by stating that she “wanted to have it” with the exiled Polish director. After the audio resurfaced this week, Geimer issued an official (and fairly compassionate) response, in which she called Tarantino’s remarks “obviously incorrect.” And it didn’t take long for Tarantino to issue an official statement of his own, formally apologizing to Geimer for his upsetting comments.

Report: Woody Allen’s Next Movie May Get Dumped by Amazon
As the #MeToo movement continues to swell, familiar allegations against a prolific director have resurfaced — and this time, Hollywood is listening. Dylan Farrow recently gave her first television interview to reiterate longstanding accusations that her father, Woody Allen, sexually assaulted her when she was just seven years old. Farrow’s statements came on the heels of reports that several actors that had appeared in Allen’s films — both recent and in the past — had either denounced the director or donated their salaries to relevant charities in support of the Time’s Up movement. According to a new report, Allen’s time may finally be up as well.
Leonardo DiCaprio to Reunite With Quentin Tarantino for Untitled Manson Murder Movie
Quentin Tarantino’s untitled Manson Family murders (Manson murder-adjacent? Murder-ish?) project has officially lined up its first big name: Leonardo DiCaprio. The actor will reunite with the Django Unchained filmmaker for his next big project, which is set in Los Angeles in the late ’60s at the time of the murders carried out by Charles Manson’s followers.
