Beer Cart Fridays – the new Casual Fridays?

Some employees feel lucky to be able to wear jeans on Caual Fridays and even kick a buck into an envelope for charity to do so. A Florida staffing firm has come up with an end of the week ritual that actually has employees feeling appreciated—Beer Cart Fridays.   The CEO wanted to find a way to reward her team for their hard work.  Looks like her free beer Fridays are paying off. The company started out in ’05 with four employees and has since swelled to 350.

Another idea: a get out of jail free card which gives staff a paid day off on their birthdays. The companies employing positive rewards have one thing in common: "We have a very low turnover, and a very high retention rate."
