Democratic Rep. Pam Anderson, a Freshman lawmaker from Fargo, has introduced a bill into the North Dakota Legislature that would allow for the use of marijuana to treat certain medical conditions.

The House Human Service Committee is slated to take testimony on the proposal starting on Wednesday.

The bill would allow for patients with certain medical conditions to carry up to 2 1/2 ounces of marijuana and cannabis-related products for medical use. It would also allow anyone with a medical marijuana prescription to grow up to 6 plants on their personal property.

Do you think this is a good move for North Dakota?
