Bismarck Police responded to Bismarck High School on Monday (10/5) morning after a student shared a concern with the office.

Police and SWAT team arrived at BHS to investigate and prevent anyone from leaving or entering the school. After 90 minutes, the 'Shelter in Place' mode was lifted around 10:20 a.m.

Shelter-in-place means that there is no immediate threat to students or staff members.

St. Mary Grade School was also in 'Shelter in Place' mode according to Principal Tony Fladeland.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
