If you are not satisfied with the way leaders in Bismarck run the city, it is likely you won't be happy with any city leader anywhere in the entire United States.

In a report issued by Wallet Hub, Bismarck ranks as the 8th best run city in the entire country. In order to come up with this number, Wallet Hub looked at factors such as financial stability, education, safety, health, the economy, infrastructure and pollution.

Out of all the cities listed in the report, and the study looked at the 150 largest cities in the US, Bismarck had the lowest unemployment rate.

The city ranked No. 12 in financial stability, No. 16 in education rank, No. 3 in both health and economy rank, No. 8 in safety rank and No. 11 in the infrastructure and pollution category.

The is welcome news for the city as just earlier today, the U.S. Commerce Department released numbers for each state in terms of economic growth in the first quarter of 2016. North Dakota had the worst state GDP in the entire country reporting an 11.4% loss according to the Wall Street Journal.

North Dakota has reported a loss in 4 of the previous 5 quarters.
