••BisMarket Farmers Market is open SAT from 9am-1pm at Bismarck’s Sertoma Park, near Shelter 5.  Use the entrance by the Amusement Park.  Locally grown farm-fresh products, this is a great healthy choice.  FREE admission!!

 

••Comedian Scott Long does his stand up FRI & SAT at 8pm at the Dakota Stage.  412 East Main downtown Bismarck.  $15.

••The Parade Of Champions—featuring the 1973 Fort Yates Warriors are the Parade Grand Marshalls Saturday in Bismarck.  The Pow Wow parade starts at the State Capitol at 930am and will wind through downtown Bismarck

••Central Dakota Humane Society has their annual Furry Fun Day on SUN from 11am-3pm at Raging Rivers.  It’s dogs, water and fun for everyone.   Prizes and contests on all day long! 

••Mandan High School Choirs are holding a large rummage sale on SAT from 8-5 proceeds will help with their spring choir tour.  The rummage sale will be on at the Mandan Braves Center Gymnasium in Mandan.

••Bismarck Out Of The Darkness Walk To Help Prevent Suicide is on SAT from 830-1130 at the North Dakota State Capitol Grounds.  Registration at 830 and the Walk starts at 10am.  

••The 2013 Bismarck Fly-In/Drive In featuring “Duggy” a DC-3 aircraft is on SUN from 730am-1pm at the Bismarck Aero Center at the Airport.  Pancake Breakfast, Flight Simulators, plus classic cars.  This is a great event for families.  Also "Duggy" will be available on SAT from 1-5pm for the kids to see!

••Pow Wow Grand Entry is happening this weekend.  FRI and SAT at 1pm and SUN at 12noon.  It’s on at the Lone Star Arena at the United Tribes Campus.  This is pretty spectacular!!

••Mandan Farmers Market is open SAT starting at 8am at Heritage Park on Main Street.  Open til everything sells out.   Also open TUES at 10am, and SAT thru October 29th.

••Learn About Photography at a mini-class at Bob’s Photo at 1019 East Interstate Avenue SAT Morning 10-1130am.  FREE.

••Papa’s Pumpkin Patch opens up on MONDAY the 9th and continues thru October 19th.  It’s north of Bismarck along the Missouri River, at 5001 Fernwood Drive.  Lots of free activities, plus a bale maze, corn maze, train rides, zip lines, hayrides plus the pumpkin cannon and FUN!  Open on Monday and then on Thursdays from 5-7pm and on Weekends from 12noon-5pm

••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo now has their summer hours is open daily from 10am-7pm.  $7 for adults, $4 for children.    New bear cubs and baby camels to see!

••Take a Guided Tour of Buckstop Junction. Any Saturday or Sunday at 1pm.  Vintage Shop is open from 12noon-4pm.  $5 for adults and $3 for students, off the East Bismarck Expressway.

••Capital Farmers Market is open Friday starting at 3pm, and is open all day Saturday in the K-Mart Parking Lot starting at 8am.

••Members of the Military and their immediately family in FREE at the Gateway of Science thru Labor Day.   It’s open FRI & SAT 10am-5pm and MON-THU 12N-7pm.  1810 Schaefer Street in Bismarck, near Bismarck State.

••Like Country Music?  John Anderson and Thom Bresh in-concert SUN at th Bismarck Civic Center 7pm. 

••7th Annual Apple Dash sponsored by the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation is on SUN at 2pm at the Hughes Educational Center, proceeds help support teacher mini-grants.   It’s a 5K Run and Walk.
