Bismarck Mayor Seeks Second Term
The Bismarck Tribune is reporting Bismarck Mayor Mike Seminary announced he plans to seek a second term.
In an announcement made Monday (Nov.6th), Seminary said his work is not done and wants a second term to serve the citizens of Bismarck.
First elected in 2014, Seminary was unchallenged after serving on the city commission.
In his announcement today in front of a small group of people, the mayor hopes someone else seeks the office and said a choice is good for the people of Bismarck. He admits not everyone in the city is a fan. Earlier in the year, there was an active petition to recall the mayor.
The election is set for June of next year.
