At 8:30am on Saturday (Dec. 30), Bismarck Police responded to a call of a man lying in the snow near the Lewis and Clark Riverboat.

Upon arrival, according to police, they found a 52 year old man who was deceased. Police do not believe there is anything suspicious surrounding the death but opine that cold weather could have played a factor.

The name of the man has not yet been released pending the notification of next of kin. An autopsy is scheduled for next week.

Bismarck police did not release any further details but the investigation is ongoing.
