Bismarck Police: Fireworks Are Illegal in Bismarck

Fireworks can be legally sold in North Dakota from June 27 through July 5 and from Dec. 26 through New Years Day. But it is illegal to use them in Bismarck.

The Bismarck Police issued a news release reminding residents that fireworks are not permitted in Bismarck. This includes "anything sold at a fireworks stand, which has to be ignited, including snakes and sparklers."

The police added that caps for cap guns are not illegal however.
