Bismarck’s Peacock Alley Restaurant Named ‘Innovator of the Year’
Congratulations to Bismarck's own, Peacock Alley, for being named one of the 2012 National Foodservice Beef Backer Award winners by the National Cattleman's Association!Peacock Alley was recognized as the sole winner among all restaurants, franchises, corporate and independents across the country as "Innovator of the Year" for providing unique beef dishes and understanding its versatility by introducing at least five new beef dishes a month.
The Beef Checkoff Program annually recognizes three foodservice establishments for their efforts in menuing and marketing beef. Winners of the awards are judged on criteria around the establishment's creativity in their beef dishes and promotion. The judging panel, comprised of a number of industry professionals, also consider the support of beef checkoff-funded initiatives, including the introduction of new beef cuts, waitstaff training, promotions, and limited-time offers.
