If you're a classic car enthusiast, Carson is the place to be on Saturday, August 20th, as the Stewart Ranch hosts the Seventh Annual Rods and Rock Car Show!

Cars from all over the state of North Dakota and neighboring states descend upon Carson for this yearly event, which awards prizes in four different categories: cars, pickups, motorcycles, and tractors. There's also the Howard Johnson Memorial People's Choice Award.

The entry fee is just $10 and all proceeds go to benefit the Prairie Learning Center in Raleigh. Registration takes place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mountain Time. Awards will be presented at 2 p.m.

More than $3,500 in cash prizes will be awarded, courtesy of sponsors like Riehl's Restoration & Repair, Grant County State Bank, El Rancho Motel, Carson Service Station, Miller Distributing, County Seat Lounge, Bammer's Seamless Gutters, NERD's Bar, Hillius Trucking, Grant County Soil Conservation District, Rossow Electric, and Hertz Bros. Hardware.
