It's been a little over a month since Carson Wentz was drafted to the Philadelphia Eagles and so far through some minicamps and drills, Wentz is impressing his coaches.

Sam Bradford is still projected to be this year's starting quarterback for the Eagles but if he struggles, it's possible Wentz could get the opportunity in his first year on the sidelines to make his mark.

In an interview with SiriusXM, Eagles Offensive Coordinator Frank Reich had only positive things to say about the NDSU graduate.

Generally speaking Reich said the 3 QB's on the roster, Sam Bradford, Chase Daniel, and Carson Wentz are "dynamic."

When speaking about Wentz specifically however, Reich told SiriusXM, "Carson, he's very smart, he picks everything up very fast. And physically he's a dominant athlete for the position."

Reich was asked if Wentz is farther along than most rookies he has seen.

"Absolutely. That's one of the reasons why we picked this guy. His aptitude is off the charts. I'm not sure I've been around a guy who's has this high of an aptitude as him at this age," Reich told SiriusXM. "It's really, really good and then he has the work ethic to go along with it. But he also has a maturity and a class about him to understand his role and understand he's got to earn his stripes and he's doing that. And he's got a great attitude about it."
