David Letterman ended his incredible 33-year run as a late-night host yesterday, and as previously reported, the Foo Fighters were on hand to help him say goodbye.

There were no scheduled guests on the final episode of The Late Show With David Letterman (minus The Foo Fighters, who closed out the night with a performance of “Everlong”), but that didn’t mean that a few of Letterman’s old friends didn’t stop by to say goodbye one last time. The Simpsons has gone on long enough that fans will inevitably face cast departure or a potential end to the series, but despite the recent renewal for Seasons 27 and 28, that end may already be in sight. Iconic Simpsons mainstay Harry Shearer appears to have revealed his exit from the long-running FOX animated series, and not even Ned Flanders could find the optimism here.

Last night, Grey’s Anatomy fans were heartbroken and shocked to discover that one of their favorite, most enduring characters would be killed off in the newest episode — hours before it even aired. Thanks to a mistake made by Entertainment Weekly, the death of Patrick Dempsey’s Dr. Derek Shepherd (aka “McDreamy”) was well-known before audiences had the chance to watch the episode. That should have taken some of the sting out by allowing them to prepare for the tragic, abrupt death of Shepherd, but instead it only served to exacerbate outrage.

All the Tanners and Gibblers will look up and shout “Have mercy!” And Netflix will look down and whisper “You got it, dude.” That’s right, friends. The Full House has officially become a Fuller House, and Netflix will return San Francisco’s favorite sitcom family for 13 episodes with D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy Gibbler at the center.
