Charles Hall Youth Services invites everyone to stop by Yankee Candle in Kirkwood Mall this Saturday, Dec. 7,  to help benefit at-risk youth.

CHYS is a residential foster care agency in Bismarck. Boys and girls ages 10-21 are their main focus with most falling between the ages of 12-18.

To help brighten a youth’s holiday season the community is encouraged to drop off gift cards and stocking stuffers at Yankee Candle on Saturday. Staff from CHYS will be there to answer any questions from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. There are a wide variety of gifts to choose from with all different price ranges to fit anyone’s budget.

Gifts for girls:

  • Scented body lotion
  • Hair straightener
  • Lip gloss
  • Jewelry
  • Hair accessories

Gifts for boys:

  • Axe shower soap
  • Mini footballs/basketballs
  • Wallets
  • Hand held games

Gift Certificates:

  • Restaurants (McDonald's, Dairy Queen, Applebees, Pizza, etc.)
  • Midway Lanes Bowling
  • Bismarck movie theaters
  • Barnes & Noble

Fleece blankets, DVDs (none rated R), mechanical pencils and scientific calculators make great gender neutral gifts.
