It's that time of year again, today is the opening of the United Tribes Technical College International Powwow. Below is the list of event times throughout the weekend. Hope to see you out there!

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7

8:00 a.m.     —     Drum and Dance Contest Registration opens. Registration located in front of Education Building. NOT THE ANNOUNCERS STAND.

10:00 a.m.     —      Youth Day  activities, welcome and introductions, Merle Botone, Youth Day Coordinator, Prayer, Performers

Noon     —    Lunch time (on their own), students invited to attend Grand Entry at Lone Star Veterans Arena.

12:45 p.m.      —     Drum roll call, prayer, and  ribbon cutting - Lone Star Veterans Arena Rededication to all Veterans.

1:00 p.m.     —     First Grand Entry at Lone Star Veterans Arena, welcome and introduction by UTTC president Dr. Leander "Russ" McDonald, welcome by UTTC Board of Director Dave Flute, Introductions of Special Guests and Dignitaries, intertribals, men’s grass special in honor of Troy Shepherd, Jr. sponsored by Melanie Red Water & Family, Tiny Tots dance contest begins (Alternating order – Girl/Boy) Golden Age (60+): Women, Men Juniors (6-12): Girl’s Fancy, Boy’s Fancy, Jingle, Grass, Girl’s Trad., Boy’s Trad.
