Check out These Highlights From Carson Wentz’s Days at Century
Before he takes the field this Sunday, September 11th, as the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, lets take a look back at Carson Wentz's time at Bismarck's Century High School.
Before he won FCS championships at North Dakota State University and became the second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Wentz was a two-way player for the Century Patriots. On offense, Wentz lined up under center as the team's quarterback. He was a defensive back on the other side of the ball.
Following his senior season, the Philadelphia Eagles moved up in the draft to take the star quarterback. On September 3rd, following a trade that sent Sam Bradford to the Minnesota Vikings, Wentz was named the Eagles' starting quarterback for their week one matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
He'll always be remembered first, though, for his time on the football fields in Bismarck.
