Congratulations to Kayla Freund, Our NCAA Bracket Challenge Winner!

There's at least one person in Bismarck-Mandan who is as happy as the NCAA Men's Basketball National Champion Louisville Cardinals, and that person is Kayla Freund of Bismarck!

Because of her remarkable collegiate basketball prowess, Kayla correctly predicted more games than anyone in our NCAA Bracket Challenge and has won $250 in prizes from Applebees, Chips Casino, Hooters, Westside Bar & Grill, and Bud Light. While this NCAA tournament was one of the strangest in recent memory, she was able to overcome the challenge and scored an impressive 45 out of 63 possible points. Well done, Kayla!

Out of our local DJs who were competing, Matt from 96.5 The Fox ranked the highest with 35 points. Mia from HOT 975 came in a close second with 34 points. JJ from Cool 98.7 and LarDawg from 103.3 US Country each tied with 31 points. Three of the four DJs correctly predicted Louisville's advancement to the Final Four. Not surprisingly, no one had this year's Cinderella team, Florida Gulf Coast, advancing past the first round of the tournament. All four DJs were beaten by yours truly, who swept the competition with an astounding 37 points (yes, I realize many of you soundly beat me...it's just extra sweet when you crush your competition, who happen to be your co-workers).
