••Used Book Sale  is on at the Bismarck Public Library FRI from 9-545 and SAT from 9am-2pm.   50,000 books will be on sale for $1 a pound.  Library is at 515 North 5th Street.

••Shiloh Hawk Walk & Run is on SAT from 8am-1030am at McDowell Dam.  A 5K & 10K competitive run, a 5K non-competitive walk, a 1 mile kids fun walk and run.  All ages are welcome, it’s part of Shiloh’s 35th anniversary weekend. 

••Fall Harvest Vendor Show is on SAT from 10am-3pm at the Country Suites 3205 North 14th Street in Bismarck.  Door prizes through out the day.  FREE!!!

••Special Pre-School Discovery Hour is on SAT from 1030-11am at the Gateway To Science Center.  It’s activities and fun designed for kids ages 3 thru Kindergarten.  Lots of hands on fun for the kids.  Members are FREE, non-members $7.  1810 Schafer Street in Bismarck.

••28th Annual Bowling Fun Day is on SAT at 1230pm at Midway Lanes.  It’s a benefit for the MSA United Way.  The cost for a 5-person team is $125 or $25 per person.  Free chili, a silent auction and lots of fun prizes.  Midway Lanes on the Strip in Mandan. 

••Fall Dinner, Fair & Raffle is on SUN at St Anthony’s Parish in St. Anthony.  Activities start at Noon with a tasty dinner---roast beef and fried chicken, and all the trimmings.  Then—Bingo, a silent auction and more fun on from 1230-4. 

••BisMarket Farmers Market is open SAT from 9am-1pm at Bismarck’s Sertoma Park, near Shelter 5.  Use the entrance by the Amusement Park.  Locally grown farm-fresh products, this is a great health choice.  FREE admission!!

••Mandan Farmers Market is open SAT starting at 8am at Heritage Park on Main Street.  Open til everything sells out.   Also open TUES at 10am, and SAT thru October 29th.

••Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is now open and continues thru October 19th.  It’s north of Bismarck along the Missouri River, at 5001 Fernwood Drive.  Lots of free activities, plus a bale maze, corn maze, train rides, zip lines, hayrides plus the pumpkin cannon and FUN!  Open on Monday and then on Thursdays from 5-7pm and on Weekends from 12noon-5pm
