One of North Dakota's most famous cold-case mysteries has gone under the microscope, courtesy of Crime Watch Daily, the first crime show to air in daytime syndication.

On June 4th, 2007, Minot State University student Anita Knutson was found stabbed to death in her Minot apartment. According to the North Dakota Attorney General's website, the suspect entered through a ground floor window and exited the same way.

More than 40 people were interviewed regarding Knutson's death, according to NBCNews.com, but none of the leads panned out.

More than eight years later, Crime Watch Daily has taken notice, putting together a four part series focused on Knutson's death.

Included in the series are interviews with Knutson's adoptive parents, her younger sister, and a man many suspect had some involvement in the murder.

You can see part one of Crime Watch Daily's four-part series above. The other three segments are below.

If you have any information regarding the death of Anita Knutson, you're asked to contact the Minot Police Department at (701) 852-0111 or the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (701-328-5500).
