Delta Airlines announced Monday it will suspend service to and from Minneapolis beginning in December.

Delta Airlines created a route from Dickinson to Minneapolis in demand from the oil patch and oil industry. Now that the oil industry has slowed, the demand for this particular route has slowed down as well.

Delta announced Monday morning (10/19) that it will suspend this particular route, due to a lack of passenger demand and profitability on the route. Delta started a 2 fight a day to and from MSP and Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport  in June of 2013.

Delta does not have a timeline to re-establish the route. If you purchased a ticket for service after November 30th, passengers are to contact Delta.
