With social media here to stay, some entrepreneurs are ready to take things to the next level: Introducing, Facebook and Yelp for dogs.  Since I'm a dog person I had to share this and it's pretty "COOL!"

A new social networking app called “Where My Dogs At” creates a new opportunity for dog owners to find dog-friendly people and places in their area.

Here’s where the gimmick really kicks in:

Instead of checking in, users “mark their territory.”

Instead of “liking” something, users give it their “paw of approval.”

But it’s not all “pun and games” … The inventors of this app were given $10k to build the app and then another $20k for seed funding.

We just hope this site isn’t all bark and no bite. (Sorry). (LA Times)
