Believe it or not, the holidays are right around the corner (again already???), which means it's time for North Dakota's annual "Treats for the Troops" drive!

The Military Affairs Committee, which runs the drive, meets the third Thursday of each month at noon at Bismarck State College. If you would like to donate:

Drop of donation items at the COC, located at 1640 Burnt Boat Drive in northwest Bismarck. (To contact the COC, call 223-5660 or visit their website.)

Suggestions for donations include:

snack items such as granola bars, sunflower seeds or Slim Jim's

entertainment items like magazines, books or DVD's

practical-use items such as phone cards, postage stamps or monetary donations to help cover postage
