Here is a recap of the massive field fire that reignited today along Apple Creek and 12th Street, along Sibley Drive.

Three helicopters were brought in with water buckets. As of press time, all three were still dumping water on the fire.

There was a second fire in Lincoln that was reported about 5:15PM. That has since been brought under control.

Several agencies including Burleigh Sheriff Department, Bismarck Rural and Mandan Fire Departments, Fish and Game and ND State Police were on scene again today to control access and the fire. National Guard helicopters were also used to help contain the fire.

As of 7:26 PM- the evacuation order has been rescinded. Only residents are permitted into the perimeter. Non- residents are urged to stay away. Any resident that has self-evacuated can go to the reception center at Legacy United Methodist Church.

UTC students that evacuated the campus are at the Lewis Goodhouse Wellness Center.

The Red Cross are assisting at both sites.

At 8:30 PM the fire was contained and fire fighters will remain on scene throughout the night to search and extinguish hot spots.
