A Fargo North High School student named Josh submitted a senior photo to the yearbook. To his, and his family's, surprise, the photo was rejected.

Josh Renville, a senior at Fargo North High, submitted a photo to be placed in the school's yearbook. In the photo, Josh poses with a rifle and American flag. The photo was rejected by FNHS because it 'promotes violence and breaks Federal and State Law.'

Josh's father, Charlie Renville, used Facebook to spread the word about his son's photo. The post has been shared nearly 700 times.

Charlie argues that his son's photo is no different than pictures of soldiers carrying guns in books or the school's letterman jackets that have a rifle patch embroidered on them. In his opinion, Josh is expressing his love for the United States and the 2nd Amendment.
