Fargo Man Pleads Not Guilty in Fight Caused by Toilet Seat

Let this be a lesson to all men: Just put the toilet seat down!

A Fargo man has plead not guilty to accusations made by his sister that he assaulted her after being she she says he left the toilet seat up.

According to InForum:

Thaddeus Sean Morgan, 24, pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Cass County District Court to one count of Class C felony interfering with a phone during an emergency call and one count of simple assault, a Class B misdemeanor.

Court documents say West Fargo police were called Feb. 24 to a fight at 431 4th Ave. E. Morgan’s sister, Cynthia Morgan, told police the fight started when she got angry at her brother for failing to put down the toilet seat.

Morgan's next court appearance is scheduled for April 2nd.

Until then, he is to refrain from leaving the toilet seat up. Just kidding, though I wish that were true.
