Fatal Rollover Accident Near Steele

A 22 year old Grand Forks man was involved in an early Saturday (July 2) morning accident about 8 miles north of Steele that killed his passenger.

The dead man is a 45 year old from Florida. The truck they were in was driven off of the roadway, crossed back on the highway and then overturned in a ditch. The driver escaped with minor injuries. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver was transported to the hospital.
