Though he wasn't picked in the recent NBA Draft, former North Dakota State University star Taylor Braun is not putting his hoop dreams on hold.

Braun will suit up for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Summer League, which runs from July 11th-21st.

According to InForum, Braun hopes his improved shooting skills will translate into a roster spot with an NBA team:

At the next level, you don’t necessarily have to be versatile. If you can be great at one thing, you can make a roster. So a lot of people said to keep working on my shooting, from being good to great.

Braun's first game with the Suns will be against the Golden State Warriors on July 12th.

In his senior season at NDSU, Braun averaged 17.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. He also helped the Bison upset Oklahoma in the second round of this year's NCAA Tournament.
