Weston Dressler, who played high school football at Bismarck High and college football at the University of North Dakota, began his trek earlier this week towards earning a spot on the Kansas City Chiefs roster.

Dressler was signed by the Chiefs in the offseason, after spending five years in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Monday (July 21), the Kansas City Chiefs arrived in St. Joseph, MO to begin training camp.

Dressler was interviewed after the first day of training camp and talked about the problems the wide receivers were having on day one and if he was ready to commit to playing special teams to earn a spot on the roster. You can see that interview with Dressler HERE.

Today's practice was the first of the season that was open to the public.

The Chiefs preseason begins August 7th against the Cincinnati Bengals in Kansas City.
