If you happened to catch the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions NFC North battle this past Sunday, October 12th, on Fox, you were probably less than thrilled with the telecast.

Well, I have some good news for you! Due to the fact that he was absolutely awful, Fox has bumped Mike Goldberg from this Sunday's game between the Vikings and the Buffalo Bills, according to InForum.

Goldberg, who has spent the last 17 years as the voice of UFC, struggled mightily during his first NFL broadcast. Goldberg managed to screw up downs, distances, and even which players played for which teams.

Numerous fans took to Twitter to rake Goldberg over the coals, myself included. Instead of taking the criticism like a professional, though, Goldberg retaliated with a few profane-laden tweets, which have since been deleted.

Goldberg will be replaced by Tim Brando for Sunday's game. Goldberg's partner, Brendon Ayanbadejo, will remain as part of the broadcast team.
