••2013 Fall Parade Of Homes  Is on thru Sunday through-out Bismarck and Mandan.  39 homes to see and be inspired by.  $5.  Tickets available at Dan’s Supermarkets, Central Market.  FRI 6-830pm; SAT 11am-5pm and SUN 12Noon-5pm.

 

••Oktober Fest Un Mandan is on SAT from 11am-11pm.  Great food, live music, Arts & Crafts, Fun Stuff for the Kids and of course BEER!  Family activities and contests.  It’s on in Mandan at Dykshoorn Park on Main Street.  $5   Beer Tasting Tickets $20 with 20 craft beers featured.

••Annual Oktoberfest is on FRI from 5-10pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church Live music and great food from 5-10pm.  730 Highway 1804 N.E.

••JFK Film Festival is on FRIDAY 7pm, At the North Dakota Heritage Center at the Capitol.  This week’s film is the classic “PT 109.”  FREE!!!

••2nd Annual St. Alexius Kickball Tournament is on SAT from 8am-8pm.  You played it when you were a kid, now you can play it for the kids.  It’s a co-ed tournament and it benefits the St. Alexius Chldren’s Center.  It will be on at the Clem Kelly Softball Complex in Bismarck.  Should be lots of fun and it’s for a good cause. 

••Pancake & Sausage Breakfast is on SAT.  From 8am-1pm at Calvary Free Lutheran Church at 417 South Anderson.  It’s a fundraiser for church maintenance. 

••Health & Fitness Fair is on at the BREA Boutique.  It’s on from 845am til 12noon.  Mini workouts in yoga, zumba, self defense and tips on fit facts and low glycemic eating. Free will donation to Free International ND,  help stop human trafficking in ND.  Bring yoga mat.  BREA Boutique is at 906-2nd St. NW in Mandan.

••BisMarket Farmers Market is open SAT from 9am-1pm at Bismarck’s Sertoma Park, near Shelter 5.  Use the entrance by the Amusement Park.  Locally grown farm-fresh products, this is a great health choice.  FREE admission!!

••Dakota Territory Collector Gun Show.  Is on SAT 9-5 and SUN from 9-3 at the Bismarck Civic Center.  $5. 

••2ndAnnual Teddy Roosevelt Family Day  Is on Sunday from 1-4pm at McDowell Dam.  This will be an outdoor event with lots of fun outdoor activities.  Shooting sports, fishing, plant and animal identification, tracking and much more.  FREE!!

••10th Annual Designer Genes Buddy Walk  Is on SAT from 10am-1pm at the State Capitol Grounds.  It’s a special walk to support Down Syndrome Awareness.  This is a great event with around 1500 people expected to be a part.   A donation of $10 will get you a t-shirt.  FREE to be a part of the Buddy Walk.

••”Love Thy Neighbor” Bazaar.  Is on SAT at the Stanton Civic Center from 10am-1pm.  Everyone is welcome!  Sponsored by Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. 

••Catch “Snow White & The Missing Dwarfs”  An interactive music for the ENTIRE family at Simle Middle School SUNDAY at 4pm.   This is a new interactive musical for every member of the family.   Simle Middle School is at 1215-North 19th Street in Bismarck.  Tickets available at the door.

••Mandan Farmers Market is open SAT starting at 8am at Heritage Park on Main Street.  Open til everything sells out.   Also open TUES at 10am, and SAT thru October 29th.

••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo now has their summer hours is open daily from 10am-7pm.  $7 for adults, $4 for children.   

••Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is now open and continues thru October 19th.  It’s north of Bismarck along the Missouri River, at 5001 Fernwood Drive.  Lots of free activities, plus a bale maze, corn maze, train rides, zip lines, hayrides plus the pumpkin cannon and FUN!  Open on Monday and then on Thursdays from 5-7pm and on Weekends from 12noon-5pm

••Take a Guided Tour of Buckstop Junction. Any Saturday or Sunday at 1pm.  Vintage Shop is open from 12noon-4pm.  $5 for adults and $3 for students, off the East Bismarck Expressway.

••Capital Farmers Market is open Friday starting at 3pm, and is open all day Saturday in the K-Mart Parking Lot starting at 8am.
