••MINNESOTA WILD HOCKEY.   At Colorado for game 5 of their best of 7 series Saturday night.   Series tied at 2-2

 

 

EVENTS AROUND TOWN:                   

 

••Dakota Digital Film Festival  is on Friday Night at The Belle starting at 7pm.  A variety of unique award winning short films will be show.  Tickets are $15 and you can buy them at the door. 

 

••Chris Brubeck’s Triple Play is in-concert FRIDAY night at 730 at B.S.C.  It’s part of the 17th annual Arts Quest series.  The concert is free and will be on at the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium 1500 Edwards Avenue here in Bismarck.  It’ll be a great blend of jazz, blues, rock, funk the classics and original music. 

 

••Got Preschoolers That Love Art?  Pre-School Art Explore is on SAT mornings from 11-12noon at Liliana Norby, 1810 Schafter Street with events for kids every Saturday thru May 3rd.  Its for kids ages 3-5 years of age. 

 

••Like those Monster Trucks?  The 2014 Monster Jam Is Here This Weekend.  FRI at 730pm and SAT at 2 & 730pm at the Bismarck Civic Center.  Tickets start at $22.50 for adults and $12 for kids.  

 

••Dakota River Runners Race For Parkinson’s Is On SATURDAY Morning at Sertoma Park.   Registration starts at 8am and the run starts at 9am.  Both a family fun 1-mile walk/run and a 10K & 5K run will be held.  It’s a benefit to fight Parkinson’s disease.   $20 for adults and $10 for kids.

 

••St Gabriel Community Spring Fling Vendor Fair is on SAT from 10am-3pm at the St. Gabriel’s Community Capital Theater.  Jewelry, cosmetic, bags, purses, toys and household & food items to get you ready for the upcoming grilling season.  Plus enjoy tacos in a bag, baked goods and beverages.  The event is on at 4580 Coleman Street, just north of 43rd Avenue between Washington and Highway 83. 

 

••Bismarck Winter Market is on SAT from 10-2 at United Tribes Technical College.  Local foods, handmade goods, along with Native art, homemade and handmade items and so much more  3315 University Drive here in Bismarck.  FREE admission.

 

••5th Annual Concert For Courage: Tune Out Violence” is on SAT starting at 5pm at the Stadium and Lodge, 1247 West Divide.  Various musicians will be performing live. 

 

••”Willabella Witch’s Last Spell will be on stage at Mandan Middle School SAT at 7pm and SUN at 2pm.  This a great show for all ages with characters like Rapunzel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Prince Charming, Hansel & Gretel and more.  Great Family fun!!.  $5 for adults and $2 for children.  Mandan Middle School is at 2901 12th Avenue NW in Mandan.

 

••”SING!”  Is on Saturday night at the Belle at 730pm.   The Bismarck-Mandan Civic Chorus present it’s spring concert.  Features a wide-variety of music.  $15, $10 for students and seniors.  Tickets available at the door. 

 

••Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra “Hopeful Horizons” Concert is on SUN at 3pm at Faith Lutheran Church 1402-East Avenue C in Bismarck.   Latin American music will be featured along with the Bismarck-Mandan Youth Orchestra.   Tickets available at the door.  This is the Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra’s final concert of the season.

 

••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo now has their winter hours and is open FRI-SAT & SUN from 1-5pm weather permitting.    $7 for adults, $4 for children.

“Brick Mansions” (PG-13)

In Detroit, abandoned brick mansions left from better times now house only the most dangerous criminals. Unable to control the crime, the police constructed a colossal containment wall around this area to protect the rest of the city.    Stars Paul Walker and David Belle.

 

“The Other Woman” (PG-13)

The Other Woman concerns venture capitalist Mark (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), a lying, conniving sociopath. His wife, Kate (Leslie Mann), and his mistress, Carly (Cameron Diaz).  Also stars Don Johnson.

 

“The Quiet Ones” (PG-13)
