••Hungry?  Spirit Of Life Knights Of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry  Is on FRI 5-730pm…enjoy Pollock, jumbo shrimp, mashed potates, coleslaw and kids menu of mac and cheese also available.  $8 for adults.  Kids K-6 $5.   It’s all on the Spirit Of Life Church Activity Center 801 1st Street Northeast in Mandan.  One last fish fry coming up on Friday the 22nd.    

 

••National Quilting Day Event is on SATURDAY from 9am-5pm at the Frances leach High Prairie Arts & Sciences Complex on Schafer Street.   It’s a quilters trunk show, classes and a free quilt show that is open to the public.  $3.

 

••North Dakota Taxidermists Wildlife Art Show.  Is on SAT from 9-4 and SUN from 9-3 at the Bismarck Ramada Hotel (formerly the Doublewood Inn).  An incredible array of art work will be on display.   $3 for adults, kids 12 and under in free.

 

••Wanna Learn To Fly???   Intro flight day is on SAT form 8-4 at the Bismarck Aero Center.  Flight instructors will be on hand all day for those interested in learning to fly.  It’s on at 2301 University Drive, Building 22 at the Bismarck Airport.  ?’s—223-4754

 

••Sons Of Norway Potato Kloob Dinner is on SAT Mandan Eagles Club.  2nd annual Potato/Ham Kloob Dinner is on SATURDAY from 11am-3pm.  Great food and fun---adults $12, and kids 6-15 $6, 5 and under are free.   Take out is available.  Mandan Eagles is at 1400 Collins Avenue in Mandan. 

 

••“Play With Your Food”---A Kid’s Cooking Adventure.  Presented by St. Alexius Medical Center and Kohls is on SAT from 9-1030 and from 1130-1 at Century High School.  It’s a free cooking class for kids in 4th and 5th grade.  It’s a chance for kids to learn healthy food choices and to cook their own food.  FREE!!!    A second adventure is coming up on the 23rd.

 

••God’s Child “Dream Makers Ball”.  Is a big night of fun—dinner, silent and live auctions and dancing.  It’s a fund raiser for the God’s Child Project.  It will be on SAT from 530-12mdnt at the Ramkota Hotel 800 South 3rd Street.

 

••An Evening With Mark Schultz—Contemporary Christian Singer to benefits the Welcome House is on SATURDAY night at 730 at the Belle.   This is a benefit for a great cause—an agency that helps homeless families.   The Belle is downtown on 6th Street.   $30.

 

••Relay For Life benefit pancake and sausage breakfast is on SATURDAY MORNING from 8-10am at the South Applebee’s.  Great food for a great cause!   ?’s—426-9362
