The price for fuel have remained steady for the last few months locally in Bis-Man and good news for the record number of travelers that plan to hit the roads for Labor Day.

According to AAA, a record number of people plan to travel this Labor Day and gas prices will be at lest 20 cents below that of last year.

North Dakota prices are still somewhat higher than some area's, even as close as Fargo where gas prices are about 30 cents cheaper that the current prices in Bismarck. Locally, prices range from 3.64 to 3.69 a gallon.

According to GasBuddy.com, the cheapest prices are in South Carolina at 3.27 a gallon and the most expensive prices are in Hawaii at 4.30 a gallon.
