The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a heat advisory, which begins tomorrow at 1pm and continues until 7pm.

According to Wikipedia:

Heat Advisory is issued by the National Weather Service of the United States within 12 hours of the heat index reaching one of two criteria levels. In most areas, an advisory will be issued if there is a heat index of at least 105°F but less than 115°F for less than 3 hours per day and/or if nighttime low temperatures are above 80°F for 2 consecutive days.

The excessive heat expected in the listening area has the potential to lead to heat-related illness. Be sure to drink plenty of water, stay inside if possible, and check on friends and neighbors.

Also, do not leave children or pets unattended in vehicles.
