Taco Bell is testing a new item for its menu, known as the French Toast Chalupa. It's also testing a few other menu items in certain cities. Absolutely none of those cities are Bismarck, ND.

We've seen Taco Bell recently launch several, somewhat experimental, but also successful menu items. Nacho Fries, Doritos Locos Tacos, and Kit-Kat Quesadillas are all recent examples of these. Now, they're testing a new menu item called the French Toast Chalupa.

If the French Toast Chalupa is as delicious as it sounds, this could be amazing! The breakfast item is said to be a french toast chalupa shell with a hint of cinnamon, stuffed with scrambled eggs, sausage and/or bacon crumbles, and a side of syrup. It sounds like the Naked Egg Taco, except with French Toast. However, the item is NOT currently sold nationwide.

Only one city is testing the item currently and that is Dayton, OH. Not only that, but several other items are being 'tested' in random cities throughout the country, such as the Queso Quesarito in Birmingham, AL, the Beefy Crunch Burrito in Chattanooga, TN, and the Crispy Chicken Taco in Oklahoma City, OK. Can we please get something in Bismarck, ND?

Sure, we're the state up by Canada, it's a never-ending winter up here, there aren't any trees, but that has nothing to do with why we can't get any of those new delicious Taco Bell items! What gives?!

While it's unfortunate the French Toast Chalupa has not spread throughout the country as of yet, we guarantee that you'll be the first ones to know when it does. The new item is said to sell for $2.49.

In the meantime, don't fail us, Dayton, OH! This thing sounds delicious. Bismarck and all North Dakotans will be waiting...
