I’m Definitely A Dog Person….

If you know anything about me--I LOVE DOGS.  They always love you for just being you--wish people would do just that, eh?   What is the most popular breed?  For me I love Beagles---they just look like a dog, and the Boston Terrier and English Bulldog are my other favorite breed of canines.  What is the most popular dog breed, here in the U.S. and in the Dakotas?   It's the Labrador Retriever for the 22nd straight year. According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), the Lab ties with the poodle for the longest consecutive reign at number one on its annual list ranking the most popular dogs in the U.S.

The German Shepherd follows at number two, while the Golden Retriever is number three. The Beagle and the Bulldog round out the top five.
