I’m Sure You Can Guess the Most Iconic Job in North Dakota

24/7 Wall St released study listing the most iconic job in each state. I'm sure you can guess what it is for North Dakota.

But not so fast. If you recall last week, we published a story on the company that employs the most people in the state, which is Sanford Health.

So does that mean the medical industry would be the iconic job in the state?

According to the study, an extraction worker is the most iconic occupation in North Dakota. Here is the information from the neighboring states-

• Minnesota - Food Scientists and Technologists
• Montana - Loading Machine Operators in Underground Mining
• South Dakota - Forest and Conservation Workers
