I love almonds, cashews, hazelnuts and pistachios and munch on them as snacks on a regular basis..and Whoo Hoo!!!  A new study is out and it says that eating nuts can help all of us live longer!!



Some of our very favorite nuts that grow on tree such as my favorite---almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, pistachios and even macadamias, pecans, and walnuts − are linked to a 20 percent lower death rate.  And those of us who eat nuts---we have a 29% lower risk of heart disease and even 11% lower risk of dreaded cancer---compared to those who DO NOT eat nuts.  And from this study the folks who consumed nuts were generally thinner and have even healthier lifestyles.  So---let's go nuts!!  (RedOrbit)
