June Weekend Fun For Bismarck-Mandan

Looks like the first weekend of June will be perfect weather-wise for getting out and enjoying.    Cars to Animals to the Missouri River Festival are all great things to do for your weekend!

••Missouri River Festival is on Through SUN the 8th  in the parking lot, across from the Civic Center.  Admission is $3, kids 5 & under in free.  Rides, games, food and entertainment.   FRI 330-1130  SAT Noon-1130  SUN 1-10, MON-THU 2-1030  FRI 330-1130, SAT 12N-1130 and SUN 1-8pm.

 

••Carnival & Rocky Top Petting Zoo Is on SAT from 12noon-3pm at Capitol Heights Baptist Church, Inflatables, food, games and prizes.  And you’ll have the option of signing up the kids for Vacation Bible School which is on June 22^nd thru the 26^th.  4307-43^rd Avenue N.E. in Bismarck  FREE

 

••4^th Annual Mandan 4-Man Team Derby is on at Dacotah Speedway in Mandan SAT 4pm.  If you like race cars, this is for you!!

 

••21^st Annual Buggies-N-Blues is on this weekend in Mandan.  Live Music, a dance, a parade of classic cars and more is on at Dykshoorn Park SAT at 4pm,  And  SUN the 21^st annual car show is on starting around 11am SUN on the streets of Mandan.  FREE!!! 

 

••9^th Annual Junior Achievement “Casino Night” is on FRI at the Bismarck Aero Center at the Airport.  Social hour at 6pm, and all the casino fun starts at 7pm.  Great prizes including a Honda Lawnmower and big screen TV.   It’s a fund raiser for Jr. Achievement here in Bismarck-Mandan.   $30/$50.

 

••The Legendary Beach Boys in-concert SAT night 7p at the Prairie Knights Casino in Ft. Yates.

 

••Birds In Art Exhibit continues at the ND Heritage Center & State Museum.   Explore these beautiful works of art of our feathered friends  MON-FRI 8am-5pm and SAT & SUN from 10am-5pm.   FREE ADMISSION!!!

 

••Bandshell Concerts Are On Through Out The Summer Monday nights at Dykshoorn Park in Mandan.  This Monday night at 730pm, it will be the West River Winds Community Band.  It will feature marches, and patriotic music.  Bring a chair or blanket.  FREE!!!

 

••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo now has their summer hours and is open Daily from 10am-7pm.  $7 for adults, $4 for children.
