Ladies–GET Walking!!
We all know that exercise is really good for all of us and now I have something especially for the female members of my listening family....very important stuff here ladies!!! My mom was a breast cancer survivor and that's why this story is near and dear to my heart!
According to the American Cancer Society, women who walk for around 60 minutes on a daily basis--can actually reduce the risk of getting breast cancer by 14% and those women who exercise vigorously can reduce their risk of breast cancer by 25%. So--get walking and exercising and let's help stop cancer in it's tracks!! And those who participated in more vigorous exercise an hour a day reduced their risky by 25 percent. (Now.MSN.com)
