Sunday night, November 20th, DAPL protesters and authorities clashed with non-lethal tactics being used on the protesters.

It started about 8:45 p.m., and this is a developing story at time of publish, but according to the live stream video on Facebook, authorities were using water hoses and tear gas to push the crowd of about 400 back.

Early reports were, the protesters were attempting to start several fires. Authorities on scene said the protesters were getting aggressive to flank and attack the line of officers, therefore the officers retaliated with less than lethal force to hold the police line.

The scene was very chaotic and continues to develop.

This incident is happening at Backwater Bridge on Highway 1806 in Morton County.
