I like my food with a little bit of a kick.  Mexican is one of my favorites.  But I don't like it so spicy that it singes your eyebrows, burns your nose hairs, or really makes a grown man cry.   But for those of you who really and I mean really like it hot---you can thank a guy named Ed Currie---who made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for making the hottest chili pepper on this planet.


It took four years to develop, but now his “Carolina Reaper” pepper is king of the hot food hill. The pepper is fire-engine red, shaped like the tail of a scorpion and--get this it's almost as potent as the pepper sprays used by many police departments.   All I can say is "YIKES!!!"
