••20^th Annual Dickens Festival is on FRI-SAT-SUN in Garrison  This is a great family getaway where Garrison becomes a quaint Victorian Village.  It’s on FRI-SAT & SUN through Saturday the 14^th.  Lighted parade, ride the Queen Elizabus, English Tea, Fruitcake toss, ride in a horse-drawn carriage, troy and tractor collector’s show, and a live presentation of Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol.”   Their website is dickensfestival.com for more info!

 

••”Christmas At Vintage Shop” Is on SAT & SUN at Buckstop Junction.  Enjoy the 7^th annual Christmas Open House.  Free coffee & cookies for guests.  Lots of great Christmas gift ideas.  It’s on from 12noon-4pm both days and it’s on through December 21^st!   It’s right off the East Bismarck Expressway. 

 

•”Christmas In The Park” is on a Sertoma Park in Bismarck.  It’s on nightly from 6pm-10pm.  Enjoy the Christmas lights and more.

••See the Christmas Production—“The Long Christmas Dinner” at the Dakota Stage .  It’s a classic play written by Thornton Wilder.  It’s a delightful drama about several generations of one family and 90 Christmas Dinners.  See the Play this FRI & SAT at 730pm, and SUN the 15^th at 2pm for the final performance.  Dakota Stage is downtown at 412 East Main

••3^rd Annual Howliday Dog Wash is on SAT from 10-4 at Groomindgales 422 West Main in Mandan.  It’s a big holiday party with your dogs.  Small dogs $10, medium $15 and large dogs $20.  All dogs get a holiday scarf! 

 

••13^th Annual Cookie Walk is on from 10-3 SATURDAY at the Bismarck Art & Galleries Association at 422 East Front Avenue downtown Bismarck.

 

••A Victorian reading of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Caarol”  Is on SAT from 3-5 at the former governor’s mansion.  It will feature University of Mary English Professor Jamieson Ridenhour.  It lasts around 2 hours.  There will be coffee, hot cider and cookies served.   302 East Avenue B Downtown Bismarck.  FREE, but donations to the Red Cross will be accepted.

 

••Celebration of Christmas is on SATURDAY night at 7pm at Dakota Adventist Academy.   Special dramatic Christmas Music will be presented.  Non-perishables for the Ruth Meiers Hospitality House are welcome.  15905 Sheyenne Circle in Bismarck.

 

••Bismarck Jaycees annual fund raising event “A Tribute To John Denver”  Will be on Saturday at 2pm at Simle Middle School.  Tickets for adults $10, $5 for kids 12 and younger.   Simle Middle School is located at 1215 North 19^th Street in Bismarck.

 

••Impact Fighting Championships 11  This is the last Impact Fighting Championships for this year.  It’s on SATURDAY 730pm at the Bismarck Civic Center.  10 exciting fights including a first ever women’s fight. 

 

••Bismarck-Mandan Civic Chorus presented “Home For The Holidays” Christmas Concert at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit.  It will feature a variety of holiday favorites.  The concert is free and open to the public.  SAT at 730pm and SUN at 4pm.  519-Raymond Street in Bismarck.
