Mandan Police Officer Fired

According to a press release from the Mandan Police Department, the department has fired one of their own today. (July 16th)

29-year-old Zachary Brown was taken into custody around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon for burglary.

On July 16, 2016 the Mandan Police Department arrested Zachery Brown, an Officer with the Mandan Police Department. Zachary Brown was arrested for felony charges based on an investigation conducted by the Bismarck Police Department.

Zachery Brown’s employment with the Mandan Police Department has been terminated.

According to reports from KX News, Bismarck Police responded to a burglary call Saturday morning. The caller informed Bismarck PD someone had forced their way into his daughters home. Apparently, Brown is the former boyfriend of the victim.
