Memorial Day weekend is one of the BIGGEST weekend for motor sports worldwide, with 3 of the worlds largest racing organizations holding some of their most iconic races this weekend.

The NASCAR crew find themselves at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Coca-Cola 600. Last year's winner Kasey Khane looks to repeat in NASCAR's longest events. The weekend kicks off on Thursday night with Qualifying at 6:15pm on Fox Sports 1, follow by the race on Sunday at 5pm on Fox, and on your radio via 103.3 US Country.

The IndyCar people find themselves at one of the most historic race tracks on US soil with the 98th running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday. Ed Carpenter sits on iconic "yard of bricks" as poll sitter, with a qualifying speed of 231.067 mph. He is the 11th driver in the history of the event to hold back-to-back polls. The race goes green just after 12pm on ABC

Another story line to follow with those 2 races is the adventure Kyle Busch will be on that day. Kyle is attempting a feat done by only 4 other drivers by attempting to drive in both the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. If he actually completes both races, he'll be the 2nd driver to do so. If he can win either race, he'll be a racing legend. The only other driver to complete this task was Tony Stewart back in 2001.

Another iconic race hits the streets of Monte Carlo this weekend with the open-wheeled cars of F1 taking on the Grand Prix of Monaco. From the Formula 1 Website

The Monaco Grand Prix is the one race of the year that every driver dreams of winning. Like the Indy 500 or Le Mans, it stands alone, almost distinct from the sport from which it was born. A combination of precision driving, technical excellence and sheer bravery is required to win in Monte Carlo, facets which highlight the differences between the great and the good in Formula One.

Series leader Lewis Hamilton goes into the weekend hoping to continue his amazing start to 2014 where he's won the last 4 races. Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg hopes he can knock the brit off the top spot to claim his second victory of 2014. Qualifying takes place 7am Saturday morning, with the race Sunday at 7:30 am. Both of those are being carried on NBCSN.
